It appears that socionic's theory for how a person becomes 'activated' is correct (activated means, in my mind, to be motivated, active, living life). Briefly, socionic's theory for activation is to engage the person's Mobilizing function with somebody's Creative function or Leading function.
At the very least, I can verify it anecdotally. Just now, I felt activated from feeling remorse at the ending of Young Justice's 2nd season's last episode, which had Wally (Kid Flash) die.
