Remark on ENTp's and INTp's ability to predict the future

Both ENTps and INTps have a very strong ability to see the future. However, this ability is manifested in very different ways:

In regards to timeframe?

• ENTps prefer to let the situation develop, using Ne to explore (with child-like curiosity) the interesting aspects of the situation developing.
• Although ENTps may be ignorant of the present situation (resulting in being late, or not taking decisive action to prevent immediate catastrophes), ENTps will be very accurate in long-term forecasts (6-months or so)
• INTps prefer to predict the future with regards to the immediate, concrete situation. INTps are often very accurate in their short-term predictions.
• However, INTps tend not to look at the positive aspects of a situation. In long-term forecasts, INTps are usually categorically pessimistic

Edit (6/28/13): it is interesting to note that these descriptions are consistent with the general rule that IxxPs perceive reality as changing slowly, while ExxPs are able to perceive fast, dramatic changes in reality. Why? INTps concentrate only on "now", while ENTps concentrate on "anything that could happen" (generally for-off possibilities).
