Plausible Theory on using Se for ENTps

I've been trying out a trick to push myself to do work: just ask myself whether I'm willing to exert myself to do the work.

The details right now are scant, mostly because I haven't thought it out thoroughly. But more details will come later.

  1. I have the same problem. Piggybacking tasks on top of other tasks helps me a lot.
    Chores:
-Keep a bunch of rags and cleaning supplies tucked away in the bathroom. When I'm using mouthwash, I take the 60 seconds to quickly wipe off the mirrors/clean the tub/maintain the toilet.
Do one of those every day or so. Usually once I have started, I take the extra few minutes to finish.
-When I am microwaving leftovers, I quickly take care of a few dishes in the sink. Then the timer goes BEEP BEEP BEEP cause I get distracted and finish a few more :P

    Study wise:
-Did I actually manage to crack open the book? Damn. I take pictures with my phone of any important text as I go on and then send them to my email. Copy and paste the parts that matter into Paint (make them about index card sized if that's what I need), then go ahead and print them out. Cut out and tape onto index cards. Voila! No writing necessary
-Lots of textbooks have a student companion site. Sometimes you can get glossary lists and powerpoint presentations for free. Use those as outlines and write notes in the margins. Or even better, keep it on your laptop (cause I would probably lose it if it's paper)

    Goals:
    No real solution yet.
Research as much as my heart desires, daydream about it, build as much of the groundwork as I can, forgive myself, then wait for the day I have the impulse to carry it out.

-IEI (I'm back! Hope all is well with you.)

  3. Schweepy! Hello there :)

Actually, the trick that I mentioned in this post _did_ work. I've been so productive, and I usually do everything several days in advance if I can help it. I should update this post, shouldn't I...

    3. It might also be that I realized a lot of things about how to "manage" my time:

      1) there's no such thing as time management. Just do everything ASAP and as fast as you can.

      2) Flow is very important

      3) Sleep is never a waste of time. Never.
